  • Nanga Parbat:

Nanga Parbat is one of the highest and dangerous mountains of the world. The name of the Nanga Parbat is taken out from the Sanskrit words nagna and parvata which means a naked mountain. This mountain is approximately 8126 meters above the level of the sea. The Nanga Parbat is also known as Diamer. This mountain is located in the Diamer district of Gilgit Baltistan region. The Nanga Parbat is the western anchor of Himalayas. This peak is an immense, dramatic peak rising far above its surrounding terrain. It is very difficult to climb on that mountain. This mountain is also named Killer Mountain because many deaths took place in the mid and early 20 century.

  • K2:

From the list of the dangerous mountains of Pakistan, the K2 is one of them. K2 is the second highest mountain in the world after Mount Everest. This mountain is 8611 meters above sea level. It is located on the Pakistan-China border between Baltistan, in the Gilgit Baltistan region of the northern areas of the Pakistan and the Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous country of Xinjiang. The K2 is also known as Savage Mountain due to its climb. The K2 has never been climbed during the winter season. Mostly the people go there in July and August. It is also one of the dangerous and beautiful peaks in the world that people have to put a great effort to reach there.

  • Gasherbrum 1:

The Gasherbrum is located in the territory of Gilgit Baltistan Valley in the collection of mountains. The word Gasherbrum means the Shining Wall. It originates from rgasha and brum in Balti which truly means Beautiful Mountain. This is the unseen peak that is also known as K5. This mountain is ranked on 11th at 8080 meters. The first effort of climbing this mountain was made by the Pete Schoening on July 5, a1958. Of the 334 documented mountaineers, 29 lost their lives and the death rate is 8.7%.

  • Broad peak:

The Broad Peak is one of the dangerous and the highest mountains of this world at 8047 meters above the sea level. The translation of the Broad Peak to Falchan Kangri is not used among the Balti people. The top of that mountain is broad and located in the Gasherbrum massif in Baltistan at an end of Pakistan and the china. It is placed in the Karakoram mountain range about 8 kilometers from K2. There are many people who go there but some of them are successful in reaching the top of the peak.

  • Gasherbrum 2:

From the highest peaks of the world, the Gasherbrum is on number 13 at 8035 meters above the sea level. It is also known as a k4. There are total 930 climbers from which the 21 lost their lives.
